About Freedom Christian Academy

Since 2015

Our History

FCA began in 2015 with 22 students. Since then, FCA has experienced remarkable growth. We are building a community led by dedicated teachers and staff, families who share the same values, a positive Christian environment, and a rigorous academic curriculum that challenges the student, preparing them for life.

Our Purpose

Freedom Christian Academy seeks to educate and train the whole student; spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. Freedom Christian Academy desires to send out into the world young people who will be lights in the spiritual darkness.

Our Mission

At Freedom Christian Academy we strive to provide an environment that assist parents in the Yuma area in educating and equipping their students to develop a heart for God, to cultivate a sound biblical worldview, and to prepare students to positively impact this world for Jesus Christ.

Our Values

We’ve identified 4 key values that summarize what we believe and how we strive to conduct ourselves in light of God’s Word.

Truth

We believe that the Truth of the Bible is absolute, and we use this Truth as the anchor for all instruction and activities.

Relationship

We see parents, families and the local church as facilitators of what we teach, recognizing that it’s through these God-given relationships that we can experience the love of Christ.

Excellence

We pursue excellence to bring God glory and encourage students to maximize their God-given potential through the development of their unique gifts and talents.

Transformation

We seek to be transformed by the Holy Spirit as we equip and empower students to be “light” in our community and impact countless lives for Christ.

Academics

Our Curriculum

Freedom Christian Academy uses the Abeka curriculum as the primary source for learning in our School. Students who transfer into FCA will have their transcripts assessed by our School administration and equivalency will be granted for those courses that align with Abeka courses.

Primary

(K-5th grade)

Our primary students are eager learners who are excited to explore the world. We encourage students to work hard as they develop new talents and understand their God-given gifts.

Secondary

(6th -12th grade)

As students get older they begin to think more intentionally about the future. We work to equip students both academically and spiritually, giving them an identity rooted in Truth.
